Lakeview Terrace

Lakeview Terrace

Lakeview Terrace – Abel Turner (Samuel Jackson) is an L.A.P.D. officer. However, he pays extra attention to guarding his neighborhood and has a problem with the new couple – Lisa and Chris who move in next door. Turner starts to make their lives a little bit more complicated since he would like them to move out because he doesn’t like the new interracial couple. One day Turner finds his daughter spending time with Lisa, and that’s where it gets worse. The officer tries to use his police contacts and does everything possible to get read of undesired neighbors, but the couple is not going to give up without the fight. The battle crosses the legal barriers and that’s when the fun begins.

The movie didn’t promise much at the beginning. It starts a little bit slow, but then it gets really intense and interesting. Probably one of the best late movies of Samuel Jackson. The plot is pretty interesting and touches a few important aspects of our lives such as racism. Every next minute of the movie just keeps on getting better and better. Good plot, good ending, good acting… What else do you need? 🙂

The trailer (below) goes over the story in short and shows some of the good moments, but the movie has a lot more to offer. Check it out and if the trailer would be interesting to you, we are pretty sure that you’d like the movie.

These are the actors that make this movie great:

Samuel L. Jackson, Patrick Wilson, Regine Nehy, Kerry Washington and Jaishon Fisher

We would recommend watching this one, grab a DVD as soon as it comes out.
